Applications are invited for Entrance Test for Admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai -Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CBS) Mumbai.The examination will be held on 30.05.2015 at various exam centres.

Date of NEST 2015 examination-30.05.2015 (Saturday).Time of examination- 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM.The NEST 2015 will be conducted at 52 major towns and cities all over India
Date of announcement of results-19.06.2015
Age limit- General and OBC category candidates born on or after July 15, 1995 are eligible.The age limit is relaxed by 5 years for Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe/Physically Handicapped candidates. However, there is no restriction on appearing for NEST 2015.
Educational qualification-Candidates seeking admission to NISER and UM-DAE CBS should be from science stream (having any combination of
Biology/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Physics) at class XII.Candidates who have passed class XII examination or equivalent from any recognised Board in India in 2013 or 2014 or are appearing in 2015 can appear in NEST 2015 examination. 
Total Seats-Total number of seats are 100+2and 45+2, respectively. 

Question type: The question paper will consist of 5 sections of objective type
questions carrying 60 marks in each section. Section 1 is the general section and is
compulsory for all candidates.No negative marking in general section.
Sections 2 through 5 will contain subject specific questions from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.

For Male candidates- General, OBC & DT/VJ/NT candidates-700/- and 750/-.
All Female candidates-350/- and 400/-.

SC, ST and PD (All Candidates) Rs.350/- and 400/-.
